Kengan Ashura is a manga series from Japan, created by Yabako Sandrovich (writer) and Daromeon (illustrator). It was originally published on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday website between April 2012 and August 2018, and the chapters were later compiled into twenty-seven tankōbon volumes.

Throughout Japan’s Edo period and beyond, gladiator arenas have emerged in various incarnations across the globe. His extraordinary ability to crush opponents captures the attention of influential business magnates, ultimately earning him an invitation to participate in the prestigious Kengan Annihilation Tournament.

This tournament, orchestrated by Japan’s most influential CEOs, promises the coveted position of Kengan Association chairman—an esteemed role brimming with power and prestige—to the ultimate victor. As the tournament unfolds, Ohma tests his mettle in fierce battles, simultaneously wrestling with his enigmatic past that resurfaces to haunt him. Meanwhile, Kazuo grapples with the daunting task of managing Ohma while unraveling the true motivations behind his invitation to this perilous competition.
